He’s always played cards since he was a kid, such as Canasta with cousins, Cribbage with his Dad and Gin Rummy when he was an exchange student in Thailand. Whilst studying Graphic Design at University he also dealt Black Jack part time at Crown Casino.
Nathan was introduced to Poker around 2005 by friends who at the time were playing Poker online. With his interest peaked he watched some WSOP and got DD Tournament Poker for the Mac to help him learn the game and so began his poker journey.
Nathan currently has over $2k in live tournament cashes at Crown but like most has had better sessions at the 2/3NL cash ring tables. He’s run some money up and down online but prefers Live to Online mainly due to the amount of time, volume, concentration and statistics required to play online properly.
Nathan lists one of his poker goals is to learn to become a TAG (or Tight Aggressive) player and has no real preferance to cash ring or tournaments.
