For those that haven't heard the Aussie Millions Poker championships has now partnered with the Asia Pacific Poker Tour and therefore be part of the APPT series.

The Marranzano Poker Club will be offering 3 Event 1 tickets and several phase satellites tickets to the $10,600 Main Event (see below chart on how to satellite to Main event)

So if you want to be part of the action make sure you come down to the Marranzano club games currenty being run every Thursday from the Abruzzo Club on Lygons street East Bunswick and perhaps ... 

Will it be Allan, Arnold, Geordie or one of the many talented females at the Marranzano Club like Sarah, Janet or Carla? No body knows, but one things is for certain ... you gotta be in it to win it ..

Allan Bathan Cashes twice at Shane Warne Super Stack Series

Congratulations to Allan Bathan who cashed in two events  at the Shane Warne Super Stack Series.

First placing 15th in the $200 NLHE for a min-cash of $405 and the backing that up the following night with a Final Table at the 6-Handed event finishing 3rd for a cash of $7,930.

Allan took home around $2,918 with the rest being paid out to Marranzano Club members.

Fantastic effort by Allan and well done.

Congratulations to Arnold Bathan who final tabled a prestigious International Poker event - The APT Manila.

Arnold successfully traversed a field of 389 runners over 3 Days to make the Day 4 Final Table but unfortunately was the first to bust placing 8th.  Arnold was self staked in this tournament and so had 100% of the win, taking home PHP 451,000 (Philippine Peso) or a bit over $11,200 AUD. Tim McRae Final tables and cashes at APPT Melbourne

Congratulations to Tim McRae of Marranzano Poker Club who bested more than 176 players to come 4th and cash $9,330.

Tim took home $3,265.50 and the balance of $6,064.50 was shared amongst the club.

Aussie Millions 2013 update

Unfortunately our two representatives for 2013 AM Poker Champs: Nigel and Lanky did not run deep enough in their respective events to cash.

Arnold, who also took part in the Main Event busted on the very last hand of his Day 1 flight holding AQ vs. AK on an Ace-high flop.

Here though, is a pick of some the the Marrazano Poker Club Players.

Nigel Peck tops Marranzano Aussie Millions series 2012 season

Nigel Peck an accomplished Marrazano Poker club player came out trumps to top the season ending leaderboard over Lanky and Arnold and will represent the group at the 2013 Aussie Millions Main event.

Lanky will also represent playing Event 18 – Australian Poker Hall of Fame Classic ($550) which some Aussie Poker hall of famers will have bounties on their heads.
